Why Santa Cruz?

Many of our first dates involved exploring the California coast and for us, it was important to be married near where we met and fell in love.

Our ceremony and reception will take place at Hollins House in Santa Cruz.

Not only is Santa Cruz near some of our favorite beaches, close to San Francisco (yes SF friends, you could hypothetically Lyft back after the reception), but also Katie's family has deep roots in Santa Cruz.  Her parents met and got married there.  Her maternal great-grandparents lived there, and her grandmother learned to golf at our wedding venue!

October is summertime along the California Coast.  Although days are often warm, please know that nights get chilly.  Be sure to dress in layers for our reception as dining will be outdoors.
